Jesse Zolna

Jesse Zolna is Director of UX Research at ADP's Innovation Lab, a special venture that works to bring Enterprise Software into the consumer age through Research, Design Thinking and Innovative Technology. Jesse previously led Marketing and Product Research at Nook by Barnes and Noble and worked for various design and research agencies. He has a PhD in Engineering Psychology from Georgia Institute of Technology and Degrees in Psychology and in HCI from Tufts University.

Jay Meany

For the last 12 years Jay has been helping businesses develop and refine their digital customer experiences and strategies. Jay has worked on the agency-side, the client-side, and managed his consultancy. Because of these diverse experiences has developed a refined - lean toolset / process to synthesize complex business goals and user needs efficiently and with a certain level of style. Currently, he is adding value to companies looking to evolve their offering or validate their ideas before they invest programming dollars.

Sue Bolton

In 2000, Sue entered the publishing industry through a company that was soon purchased by Reed Elsevier. Not long after, she was asked to join McGraw-Hill, selling textbooks to universities. As the publishing industry evolved towards digital so did her career in technology and she was the first International Manager to introduce eBooks & online learning tools to the market. Sue continued to rise through the ranks at McGraw Hill and got more deeply involved in ed tech. In 2012, when McGraw-Hill was acquired by Apollo Partners and renamed MHEducation, she was asked to remain with the new enterprise. Sue is now the Senior Director, Technical Product Management of the Learning Science Platforms Group, which focuses on the corporate markets & SaaS.

Kirk McMurray

Kirk is a creative technology entrepreneur with a background in product development and cognitive science. Kirk earned his Masters in Mind, Brain and Education from Harvard University and studied AI and Epistemology at the MIT Media Lab. He has led product and strategy efforts at multiple startups, in areas ranging from EdTech to FoodTech to marketplaces, including three ventures he co-founded. As the Chief Product Officer at Cerego, Kirk spearheaded the development of a revolutionary adaptive learning and memory platform, and launched Japan's largest online language learning service. As CEO at Cognition, he oversaw a strategic pivot that culminated in a successful acquisition by Nuance. Currently Kirk is CEO (and co-founder) at Totem, a SaaS press page offering for startups and SMB's. He also advises a couple of early stage startups.

Michele Marut

For the past 17 years, Michele has led research to inform and enable teams to make the overall user experience as easy, intuitive, and delightful as possible. She has worked on both hardware and software across a variety of industries for companies such as Autodesk and Intuit. As an Innovation Catalyst at Intuit she facilitated design thinking workshops and lean experiments. Now as a Senior Design UX Researcher at WeWork, her main focus is on the "Pre-Membership" section of the user journey, which includes projects in the physical and digital realms.
