Myriam Joire was born wearing combat boots and holding a keyboard; moments later she picked up a soldering iron. She's been stomping, typing and hacking ever since. After spending years being a code-monkey in the video game industry, she joined Engadget as senior mobile editor and became In(ternet) famous. She's been called a "personality" and a "pundit", and she now pimps smartwatches as the chief product evangelist for Pebble.
Joe Fitzgerald
Joe Fitzgerald is a Senior Manager in Deloitte's Strategy & Operations practice focused on Supply Chain Strategy and Product Development for high technology products and services. Joe has been leading Deloitte's newly formed wearable technology business offering that is focused on the use of smartglasses in the enterprise. Additionally, Joe's key engagements have included sourcing and procurement for high tech supply chain optimization, product development and manufacturing operating models, post-merger integration, and design/manufacturing engineering process development, just to name a few. Joe has completed the APICS CSCP certification, the Deloitte Supply Chain Management Certification and is a six sigma Yellow Belt. He holds an MBA from the Wharton School, a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University and a B.A. in Physics from Fairfield University.
