Description

You have a great idea for a music game, and you can't believe no one has thought of it... so you embark on a journey into the Byzantine world of Music Rights, Sync Licensing and Clearance. On top of that, you still have to make a great game!

This panel will help guide you (possibly scare you) in the best ways to think about building a game based on music. Our panelists all have expert knowledge with first hand experience about pitfalls to avoid, general licenses you will need, what major game pubs would be looking for etc . Let the fun begin.

Panelists include:

Bill Wilson, VP Digital Strategy and Business Development, NARM

Sinjin Bain, GM of EAPartners, VP of Business Development, EA

Cheryl Gehbauer, Head of Licensing, Harmonix Games

Dave Pettigrew, SVP of Music Licensing, Warner Chappell Music

Amanda Santana, Director of Music Licensing and Brand Partnerships, Warner Bros. Records

Moderator: Andie Simon, Former SVP of Interactive Media, Warner Music Group
