Join us September 27th as we welcome Scott Kurnit, founder of About.com and Keep.com. Scott led About.com as CEO through IPO and its growth to a public market value of $1.5 billion. Scott was influential from the inception of the consumer web at Prodigy, where he led the team that put the first browser into an online service. (so, quite literally the inception) He went on to lead divisions of MCI in their efforts to grown their digital business. Today, in addition to serving as Chairman of Keep Holdings. Scott is an active media and technology angel investor. We will talk about building a trusted content site, the changed landscape for exits, and better monetization strategies for B2C startups.
