Podiums goal is simple:
Take the infrastructure stack of a multi-manager hedge fund & make it accessible to anyone with real edge.
We believe the next generation of strong PMs wont come exclusively from traditional pipelines. They will come from people who already operate in complex, feedback-driven systems but have never had the opportunity to run capital.
Were looking for a very specific type of participant:
The founder who understands systems, feedback loops, & compounding & sees markets as another system to model
The domain expert who knows something the market doesnt fully price from energy to healthcare to supply chains
The quantitative builder who can translate ideas into models, agents, or decision frameworks
The emerging PM who has the thesis, but not the $50M AUM or institutional backing
You dont need pedigree. You dont need a fund.
The industry over-indexes on pedigree because it has historically been the only reliable filter.
But pedigree is a proxy not the source of alpha.
But you do need...
1) Common sense exceeding the average
2) Reasoning under uncertainty, & cutting through the noise
3) Extreme tenacity
