Position Overview:

As DV continues to grow rapidly in size & complexity, we need a Director of Field Marketing to support the sales team with collateral & drive the creation of RFI & RFP content. This person will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define the sales pipeline & prioritization & develop communications programs & materials that support acquisition & nurturing efforts across DVs prospect base.

What You Will Do:
The Director of Field Marketing will collaborate with sales & marketing leadership to define the structure for multi-tiered communications from high-touch account-based communications for top-tier customers, to broader lead generation including nurturing & drip programs for mid-market customers. In addition to empowering sales with one-to-one & one-to-many communications, this individual will also be responsible for developing pitch materials, composing RFIs & RFPs & contributing to the development & activation of data-driven insights. This individual will be responsible for establishing processes & overseeing a team of global field marketing professionals. 

To be successful, you will:

  • Partner with sales leadership to understand pipeline & revenue targets & develop a communications plan & programs that help acquire new customers, accelerate deals & expand current customer deployments 
  • Develop & execute an account-based communication plan for top 30-40 customers & a lead-gen/nurturing program for mid-market customers under the guidance of sales strategy
  • Execute marketing programs designed to meet sales objectives & budget, including campaigns, customer communication, pitch materials & RFIs/RFPs
  • Maintain RFI/RFP playbook
  • Participate in sales team calls, in-person meetings & planning sessions
  • Help define KPIs & regularly communicate results 
  • Partner with product marketing for competitive intelligence & to create of data-driven insights/materials that can be leveraged to fuel sales
  • Engage top customers to participate in events & marketing activities (campaigns, co-sponsored events, press, testimonials)
  • Help build the infrastructure for support of global sales teams
  • Ensure consistency in messaging & style across all communications based on messaging playbook & style guidelines 

Who You Are / What You Have Done:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or a related field
  • 5+ years experience with communications and/or field marketing for a tech company, preferably in a start-up, media, tech, or advertising environment
  • Experience executing market analysis & developing collateral in PowerPoint & other creative software
  • Experience with lead-generation capabilities within Salesforce or similar CRM
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms such as Marketo
  • Ability to work independently and/or facilitate communications across functional teams
  • Excellent written & verbal communications skills
  • Experience thriving in a fast-paced, team-based environment
