The Senior Director, Specialized Sales for NA Merchant team plays a critical role in our field sales organization. Visa's strategy for new flows & value added solutions makes this role a crucialconnector among product team members, account executives, partners & clients to accelerate success. Drawing on solutions from Platform, Consumer, Data & Consulting, Visa solutions contribute to strategic growth for our merchant clients. In addition, these solutions are important contributors to both team engagement & client satisfaction. The positionreportsto the Vice President, Specialized Sales in the North American Merchant team & optimally based in San Francisco.

The ideal candidate will have over 12years of relevant client experience, including recent responsibilities & successin enterprise sales & business development.The candidate will have a solidunderstanding of the trends influencing digital commerce & financial flows across US industries & key verticals such as Retail, Everyday Spend, & ecommerce/marketplaces.The candidate should have a strong track record of building business & completing sales in larger sized business,developing deep relationships across an organization including technical buyers, & negotiating complex partnership deals.
