The Role
The VP of Corporate Marketing oversees global corporate communications including public media & analyst relations, executive communications & thought leadership, internal/employee communications, & corporate social responsibility initiatives.
This person will set an inspiring vision for corporate marketing, leading, coaching & developing a team of high-performance employees, contractors, & agency resources to achieve company & marketing objectives. The VP of Corporate Marketing is a seasoned & trusted strategist & thought leader advising executives & other internal clients on the strategies & tactics to advance the CommerceHub messaging in the marketplace, inspiring employees, customers, partners, media, analysts, & investors to desired action.
Responsibilities
- Direct global corporate communications, including public, media & analyst relations; executive communications & thought leadership; & reputation management
- Oversee social marketing to drive community & advocacy among CommerceHub customers, prospects, partners, & influencers
- Elevate & evolve CommerceHubs engagement with customers & prospects via social media, blogs, & community assets
- Build internal communications program & partner with people resources team to evolve employee programs
- Develop & execute a strategic plan to drive CommerceHubs thought leadership position in the market with customers, analysts, & partners
- Create a diverse, high performance team environment that inspires pride, retains & motivates employees, & attracts new top talent
- Oversee & evolve the customer reference program
What We're Looking For
- World-class leadership, marketing, communication & change management experience, expertise & skills
- Ability to establish cross functional, collaborative relationships with business partners
- Competence in persuading & influencing others to effectively sell ideas & get results
- Strict attention to detail & natural, consistent tendencies towards detail & follow through
- Minimum of 12 years experience in marketing & communications with experience working both in-house & within an agency environment
- Demonstrated competence in managing corporate marketing & communications to achieve business objectives
- Bachelors degree or higher/equivalent professional experience in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related degree with demonstrated desire for continued learning
