Client Success Manager

Location

At the moment, some of us are still working remotely however, our NY office is open & this role can be based out of the office or hybrid remote. The preference is that this role be NYC based however, exceptional remote candidates may be considered (subject to your legal right to work within the jurisdiction). Candidates will need to work EST hours.

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned & highly motivated Client Success Manager to join our global team! The person in this seat will focus on maintaining & growing our client base, remaining in charge of day to day account management & working to strengthen our client relationships. You will also help coordinate events across the client lifecycle such as on-boarding, deployment of software, adoption of new product features, & contract renewals.

The ideal candidate is a top producer who has a genuine interest in technology & loves to cultivate & maintain excellent customer relationships. Previous experience working with financial services vendors & asset managers & banks is very strongly preferred. A deep understanding of renewing contracts SaaS/software/technology is key to success in this role. This person will work with many stakeholders across the enterprise, including engineers & should be able to speak to technical & business personas with confidence. 

Responsibilities

  • Acting as a main point of contact for clients & assist in account coordination activities including support, deployment, product adoption, cross sells, upsells & renewals
  • Cultivating adoption of the OpenFin technology & feature set within our client base & communicating OpenFin value proposition through proposals & presentations
  • Developing & executing strategic account plans to achieve client satisfaction
  • Helping the SDs (Sales Directors) to identify opportunities to expand our footprint within the existing customer base
  • Building & maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships with senior stakeholders within client organizations
  • Partnering with customers to understand their ongoing business needs & objectives & partnering internally with our SDs to help coordinate & execute the account vision 
  • Maintaining a customer centric mindset to help troubleshoot deployment issues, support ticket management, engineering challenges & product feature requests 
  • Quickly develop a deep understanding of OpenFins product & underlying technology & an ability to communicate product benefits to stakeholders & help them grow within the OpenFin Ecosystem
  • Representing OpenFin at company industry events

Success in this role will be measured by:

  • Achieving renewal targets, maintaining a high client satisfaction score, & product adoption metrics. 

Requirements for the Role

  • Previous experience selling into the Financial Services industry to asset managers & banks is very strongly preferred
  • Capital markets experience & a knowledge & understanding of workflows
  • Proven sales experience, in an enterprise SAAS environment, meeting or exceeding renewal targets
  • Proven track record of maintaining large enterprise deals & experience displaying strong account management skills 
  • Well versed in multi layered account management & sales processes that accelerate successful outcomes
  • Ability to communicate, present, & influence all levels of a target organization, including executive & C-Suite level
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products & services, tendency towards technical expertise is preferred 
  • Excellent communication & negotiation skills, with the ability to position products against competitors & showcase the OpenFin value proposition
  • Experience working with Sales Force, Jira, Zen Desk, & CS software is preferred
