Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring a Senior Manager, Talent Development to join our Talent Management team.

About the role

You will set the strategic direction of the Talent Management team. You will lead a team working with diverse partners to create talent programs & manager training that allow Oscar employees to have greater transparency into the processes of performance, calibration & where they stand concerning their own development.

You will report to the Director, Talent Engagement. This is a hybrid role. You will work part of the time in the NYC, Tempe, AZ or Los Angeles, CA office & part of the time work-from-home/remote. #LI-Hybrid

The base pay for this role in the states of California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, & Washington is: $132,000 - $173,250 per year. The base pay for this role in all other locations is: $118,800 - $155,925 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, & annual performance bonuses.

Responsibilities

  • Create & set the near term Talent Management strategies 
  • Build & implement enterprise processes that create Oscars Talent Management goals forward; such as succession planning of Oscars workforce. 
  • Program manage talent management programs from conception to implementation, including proposals, project plans, communication/resourcing plans
  • Collaborate, communicate, & gain understanding with important partners across the People team to ensure successful implementation of talent management programs
  • Oversee the maintenance & execution of the talent management program
  • Oversee & support HRIS configuration & testing for all talent processes
  • Manage team members to guide end-to-end performance cycle processes year round, across geographies, engaging diverse partners around shared goals
  • Use predictive analytics to inform & improve talent management, performance & talent planning
  • Lead a team to achieve team outcomes

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of consulting or internal learning & development experience 
  • 2+ years of direct experience leading talent management 
  • Experience building scalable processes
  • Experience leading cross-functional programs
  • Experience defining & measuring impact of talent management processes

Pay Transparency: 

Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, & experience.
