The Feast is a social innovation summit where multi-disciplinary trailblazers gather to spark creative approaches to complex challenges. Our 2014 conference has an incredible lineup of speakers, including Ben Cohen, Co-Founder of Ben & Jerry's, and Harley Dubois, Co-Founder of Burning Man, and partners that include The Rockefeller Foundation, IDEO, Intel, Tribeca Film Institute, and Red Hook Initiative.
The Feast 2014 will also boast a Civic Hardware Hackathon, designed for technologists and entrepreneurs working on existing projects around city resiliency and disaster preparedness. The hackathon will support the White House Innovation for Disaster Response and Recovery Initiative, and will be co-hosted with FEMA, the Department of Homeland Security Science and Technology Directorate, Intel and others. Participants will prototype disaster resilience solutions in Red Hook, Brooklyn.
