PechaKucha, a night featuring lightening fast presentations by dynamic individuals, started in 2003 in Tokyo as a way for creative types to network. The concept took off in many major cities (including Manhattan), and now Brooklyn is hosting its own version for the second time. Powered by ThoughtWorks NYC, volume two will feature presenters taking just 6 minutes and 40 seconds each to show and talk about 20 slides. This one's theme is "Doing Better," where presenters like educator Preeti Birla, musican Jesse Paris Smith and Roberta's Pizza guru Anthony Falco will discuss topics relating to lessons learned and instances of failure. The event is 21 and over only.
