About the Team & Role

BlockFi is seeking a Head of Asset Management to build & manage BlockFis asset management division. The role presents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the right candidate that is interested in bringing the best of the asset management industry to crypto products through investor-friendly products. Asset management products would leverage BlockFis worldclass connectivity across institutional clients, retail clients, & private clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop long term roadmap for asset management business, spanning BlockFis institutional base & retail activity
• Manage and/or delegate day-to-day management of BlockFis trust products
• Build relationships with regulatory bodies such as the SEC
• Own marketing & growth plan for asset management products
• Structure, negotiate, & originate new products with counsel
• Originate & grow partnerships for distribution, formation, etc.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in asset management industry
• 10+ years dealing with regulators (including the SEC) & working with fund formation counsel
• Sterling record of launching & growing asset management products
• Familiarity with crypto industry
