VP, Acquisition & Growth Marketing

As the VP of Acquisition & Growth Marketing, you will lead the strategy & execution of a diverse performance marketing portfolio of growth strategies, including paid & organic marketing channels, partnerships, & more to acquire new customers & directly impact the trajectory of our fast growth, luxury flash sale brands, Rue La La & Gilt.

Reporting to the CMO, this is a unique opportunity to join the Marketing Leadership team, to own the strategy for driving new customer growth & increasing brand awareness while coaching & growing a high-performing team of marketing professionals. This high-impact role will also spearhead cross-functional growth initiatives & serve as a highly visible & active leader within the organization.

A strategic performance marketer, a cross-functional leader, an analytical thinker with impactful storytelling, a coach & mentor to lead, develop & engage a diverse team, & an agent of change to challenge the norm & disrupt the market.

What Youll Do:

  • Grow & lead team by building vision & motivating team members through coaching, feedback, & change management
  • Scale & optimize multi-million dollar marketing portfolio, focusing on acquiring new customers to Rue La La & Gilt while achieving efficiency (LTV/ CAC) goals
  • Develop the vision & own end-to-end strategy for growing key online & offline marketing channels including Facebook, Google, Performance TV etc.
  • Lead a robust testing agenda focused on unlocking new channels & strategies to deliver step function efficiency & scale of the acquisition program
  • Own key metrics driving the acquisition function, setting a high bar for the team & our partners in terms of analytical rigor
  • Communicate insights into drivers of performance & opportunities to the RGG Executive & Management teams on a regular basis
  • Own budgeting, forecasting & investment justification
  • Serve as a key leader within the company, identifying & driving business opportunities through cross-functional partnerships across Marketing, Creative, Product Management, Technology & Merchandising

    • 10+ years experience leading customer acquisition & growth marketing programs in high-growth B2C e-commerce/retail environments
    • Proven track record successfully managing & scaling a multi-million dollar ($10M+) acquisition budget to deliver results in a dynamic, fast-paced organization
    • Strong people leadership skills with focus on scale, people development, & fostering an inclusive team culture
    • Demonstrated exceptional analytical horsepower & data-driven problem-solving skills; owned start-to-finish analytic solving of complex marketing problems using analytics/ business intelligence tools such as Tableau, SQL, etc.
    • Proven ability to drive rigorous prioritization & decision making to achieve complex goals
    • Entrepreneurial & global ownership mindset, with proven ability to influence & build advocacy for ideas at all levels of the organization
    • Passion for understanding consumer behavior & taking a few risks to explore new avenues to engage & delight customers
