About the role:

As a BDM - Technology Partners based in our New York office, you will manage the relationship & performance of the worlds biggest Technology Partners (Channel Managers, Central Reservation Systems (CRS), Property Management Systems (PMS), Booking Engines, Revenue Management Systems (RMS), Payment Processors & Acquirers etc.).

You will be a seasoned professional from the internet and/or travel and/or consulting industry with proven experience in influencing stakeholders & managing big partners and/or programs within a cross-functional international role.

Your understanding of the online travel industry, including product developments, market trends & connectivity will facilitate your relationships with technology partners at a corporate level.

Responsibilities:

What you will focus on:

Relationship Management:
Own the commercial relationship with the worlds largest technology partners (such as Derbysoft) & foster outcome-oriented relationships with stakeholders across the businesses (in Product, Marketing, Legal etc.) to drive engagement & advocacy for your success.

Account Management:
Drive partner performance to maximize value through existing & new technology partners by identifying areas of improvement & developing opportunities.

Performance Management:
Monitor results, identify opportunities, strategize & put an action plan in place.

Innovate:
Design complex commercial arrangements, strategize product integrations, identify & experiment with features through integrations that drive growth. Be creative & suggest new product features & identify new programs that you can experiment with.


Requirements:

5 years of experience within a multi-national travel or e-commerce company.
5 years of account management / strategic partnerships experience.
A bachelors degree or MBA in business / hospitality or related field.
Resilience & an unrelenting push for performance.
A team first ethos & a dedication to collective success.


Preferred Qualifications:

Excellent commercial acumen.
Proven track record of managing complex commercial arrangements.
Fair understanding of XML connectivity products & their functions.
Manage & implement partner programs that meet quarterly target expectations.
Familiar with business intelligence, reporting & the proactive use of data.
Extremely comfortable with selling & influencing on VP-level.
Be results oriented with a methodical approach to driving progress.
Experience in motivating & training other internal departments.
Proven problem-solving skills.
