What We Are Looking For:

Persado is searching for a Chief of Staff that will work closely with our CEO helping to develop business strategy, launch key initiatives, oversee operations, manage relationships, & help to handle media responsibilities. You will work side-by-side with most of the company's leaders, aiding on a range of responsibilities & personally taking ownership of many projects. This is a strategic role that requires a combination of character, judgment, people skills, organization, & ambition.

What We Want You To Do:

  • Assume day-to-day responsibility for the projects & tasks selected by the CEO.
  • Enforce the CEOs strategic priorities, identifying the areas where they must direct their focus & identifying metrics for success.
  • Strategically manage the CEO's schedule: working with assistants, looking at long term travel calendar, evaluating opportunities & determining fit with priorities.
  • Assume day-to-day responsibility for the projects & tasks selected by the CEO.
  • As a representative of the office of the CEO, effectively collaborate & maintain cross-departmental relationships in order to build a bridge between organizational needs & required involvement by the CEO.
  • Facilitate all meeting preparation & follow-up, reviewing upcoming meetings for the week to ensure the CEO has all of the information needed to be as productive as possible & send out agendas or documents to meeting attendees as necessary.
  • Review & potentially prepare Internal & external Communications: reports, pitch decks, speeches or presentations for the CEO.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, handling inquiries & developing action plans to
  • address them, & assisting with the preparation & dissemination of communications.
  • Monitor information flow, acting as a gatekeeper, ensuring a CEOs involvement in a project or decision-making process at the right moment.
  • Meeting & Event Preparation: manage the meeting cadence for the board of directors & leadership team, ensuring materials are sent in advance, time is well spent, & objectives are achieved.
  • Partner with the CPO to collaborate on large, often cross-functional organization-wide projects or initiatives.
  • Create systems & processes to streamline operations in the office of the CEO.
  • Create & update dashboards for reviewing key performance indicators related to company & leadership initiatives (OKRs).
  • Attend internal meetings & calls on behalf of the CEO when necessary.
  • Write first drafts of proposals, emails, letters etc.
  • Act as the communication arm for the CEO with other executives in the organization, clients or major stakeholders.
  • Act as a sounding board to the CEO for new ideas & initiatives, then prioritizing & lead on selected projects.

What We Want To See:

  • MBA and/or science/engineering degree preferable
  • 2-4 years of experience in management consulting or similar field
  • Excellent communicator in written & verbal form
  • Extremely versatile, dedicated to efficient productivity
  • Experience planning & leading strategic initiatives
  • Experience with data analysis
  • Experience with budget management
  • Proven success in a project coordination role
  • Multi-lingual
