The Compliance Analyst (CA), under the direction of the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO), is responsible for the identification & assessment or regulatory risks & the execution of procedures to evaluate Behalf's (BEHALF) compliance with laws, regulations & industry standards.
The CA will support efforts of the Behalf Compliance Department help to develop & execute strategies for closing compliance gaps.
The CA is responsible for ensuring that the assigned Business Lines policies & procedures & controls are in compliance with regulation, while assisting in the leading of the execution & coordination of the compliance function at the Business Line level.
The CA role is a dynamic role that requires the ability to work independently within the department with other Staff, CCO, etc.) & cross-department teams (various lines of business (LOB) staff & management) within the rapidly changing legal & regulatory environment as it relates to commercial lending & B2B industries.
The CA will also assist in developing and/or performing risk assessment exercises including BSA/OFAC, as well as implement the compliance program initiatives in the assigned business lines.
Responsibilities will also include supporting the development or revisions of appropriate policies, procedures, contracts & agreements to ensure compliance; working with the areas of the Business Lines affected by changing laws, regulations, or policies to ensure that appropriate changes are implemented; acting as compliance representative in projects involving new or changes to existing regulatory impacted materials; assisting in preparation for regulatory examinations, audits corporate testing & other external reviews.
The CA will also liaise with the Compliance Staff as a whole & monitor major & critical compliance risks & issues.
It is expected that the CA will participate in job-specific training & other training programs as required; other duties as may be assigned.
