Were hiring a Lifecycle Marketing Associate. 

About our team & what well build together

This person will lead customer engagement across the lifecycle of our audience. Reporting to the Lifecycle Marketing Manager, the role is responsible for developing & executing unique & imaginative end-to-end lifecycle communications across email, sms, push notifications & pop-ups. This is a hands-on & operational role to determine strategy, tactics & implementation. We're looking for an incredibly creative thinker with excellent communication, project management & execution skills. This role sits on the Growth team. Were tasked with acquiring, engaging & retaining the audience. Specifically, this role will be among the customer marketing team tasked with increasing audience engagement & retention. 

How youll contribute to our mission

  • Manage & implement all lifecycle/transactional user communications (email, SMS, push notifications).
  • Develop unique & creative lifecycle messaging & programs that drive user engagement & retention.
  • Own execution & prioritization of new lifecycle messaging.
  • Prepare data reports & analysis of lifecycle messaging results used by departments across the company.
  • Collaborate with to support the business with everything they need to generate value from lifecycle messaging.
  • Be the subject matter expert for theSkimm's growth lifecycle messaging & act as a growth evangelist internally & externally.

Requirements

  • Recent graduates with internship experience or 1-year of professional experience in email marketing, CRM, or lifecycle marketing
  • Demonstrated aptitude in building user empathy & crafting highly personalized messaging
  • Excellent time management skills & the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A fundamental understanding of media channels & proficiency in their corresponding ad managers.
  • High attention to detail & adherence to budgets are a must.
  • Strong understanding of key social media KPIs, analysis & reporting.
  • Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize work assignments, meet deadlines & work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communications & relationship-building skills (Candidates should have history working cross-functionally).

What about the office?

This is a full-time role based in New York, NY with flexibility for remote work.

Our office is available to use three days a week - Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday. We have a hybrid environment & ask that employees within the New York Metro area come together in person a minimum of three days per month. All other days are up to the discretion of the employees during the three days a week that the office will be open. We are continuing to closely monitor the state of COVID-19 in New York & will adjust this plan accordingly.

We will require COVID-19 vaccinations for anyone coming to our office. We are following CDC recommendations & will also require additional boosters, & will always follow CDC & NY state guidance on wearing masks in the office.
