Our Merchant Partners are critical to the success of Postmates, & we need a strong, dedicated Account Manager to support & grow their business on our platform. You will be part advocate, part detective, & use data driven recommendations to support your portfolio of top tier partners. Our best Account Managers are self-motivated, data-driven, & have exceptional interpersonal & relationship-building skills.
- Manage a portfolio of regional brands, typically averaging more than 20 locations, focusing on growing their business & improving Postmates margins
- Develop & execute a sales & marketing plan for key accounts that meets or exceeds sales & margin targets
- Identify strategic opportunities within their local markets, work cross functionally with our marketing & communications teams
- Travel up to 20% per quarter surrounding recurring Business Reviews as needed
- Assist with expansions, rollouts, & software integrations to grow brand implementation
- Ability to interpret & understand sales reports & syndicated data for use in sales presentations.
- Act as the Partners point of contact handling inquiries, resolving conflicts, & providing solutions in a timely manner
- 3+ years experience in Account Management
- BA/BS Degree
- Strong attention to detail, organized, & analytical; with excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Tech-savvy with Mac, iOS, & Android
- Knowledge of CRM software, preferably Salesforce
- Excellent communication & negotiation skills
- Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude
