In a Nutshell:

VaynerMedia is looking for a VP-level Analytics professional (EVP/SVP/VP, depending on experience) to grow our New York-based analytics team & provide world-class external support to our client base and  internal support to our media, strategy, creative, & consulting practices to deliver analytics, insights, measurement support across our client portfolios. 

Our S/VP leaders drive strategic & operational execution of our measurement & analytics vision across  various lines of business in our New York office & in support of other offices worldwide. These individuals act as a strategic partner to our clients providing assessment of the client's current measurement & analytics proficiencies. Our measurement & analytics leaders help turn platform & client metrics into actionable signals for our teams.   Our S/VPs are responsible for ensuring VaynerMedias core Honey Empire Values are followed & provides their teams with stability, direction, & growth.

What Youd Do:

  • Partners with other VaynerMedia leaders to develop our Measurement & Analytics pitchbook,  pitch services to prospective clients, including measurement & reporting, custom attribution models, lead scoring, customer lifetime value analysis, measurement strategy & enhanced reporting;
  • Oversees the launch & execution of analytics work on existing scopes;
  • Evaluates current scopes to identify opportunities to add value through analytical services;
  • Looks for innovative & breakthrough ideas, approaches & solutions & opportunities to expand existing & sell new business to clients;
  • Understand competitive measurement & analytics offerings & help articulate VaynerMedias differentiated position in the marketplace;
  • Evaluate/approve all recommendations & presentations before sending to client;
  • Delegate work effectively to, not only teach direct reports, but also deliver seamless client work
  • Foster an environment that encourages intelligent risk taking, innovation & creativity
  • Lead a team of analytics professionals which includes, interviewing, training, developing, & mentoring with a focus on developing top talent 
  • Structure & solve the complex, multi-dimensional challenges that come with maintaining a healthy agency team & account;
  • Able to move with ease between micro & macros views, ensuring all are consistent;
  • Develop & promote a vision & culture that team & clients can see & chart a clear path to achievement;
  • Position the organization as a center of expertise & influence in the industry;
  • Deliver best in class holistic measurement strategies, inclusive of client KPI success & seeking to move the industry at large
  • Pursue & vet emerging measurement opportunities; guiding team on priorities, & adjusting agency-level POVs based on changing market dynamics
  • Contribute to industry dialogue, publications, & events adding unique perspective
  • Foster a culture where we anchor our media recommendations on realistic business outcomes
  • Build, maintain, & grow senior-level client relationships; serving as an executive sponsor & client advisor for multiple clients within the agency portfolio

What Youve Got:

  • Experience working with analytics teams
  • A minimum 10-15+ years of industry experience producing custom analytical deliverables, including 3-5 years leading analytical teams, with a proven track record of executing sophisticated, large scale digital media measurement strategies that drove tangible business outcomes.
  • Thorough understanding of analytics, attribution & measurement systems, including but not limited to:
    • Google Analytics
    • MOAT/IAS/Double Verify
    • Nielsen/Millward Brown/Oracle Measurement
    • Experience working with attribution partners
    • MTA: VIQ, Neustera
    • Foot Traffic: Placed, 9th Decimal, PlaceIQ,
    • Call Attribution: Dialogtech 
  • Ideal candidates will have consulting or similar experience advising senior leadership 
  • Understanding of digital media channels, with knowledge of platform best practices & media capabilities
  • Strong storytelling capabilities & deep experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or equivalent 
  • Experience leading & managing growing teams 
  • Advanced written & presentation communication skills with the ability to command an audience's attention & displays an exceptional gravitas 
  • A proven understanding & expertise in brand strategy, as well as the social/digital space & how it integrates with the wider marketing mix for Fortune 500 size brands
  • Ability to lead by example in terms of attention to detail, general work ethic, empathy & internal/external professionalism.
  • You live for todays digital & mobile consumer & are passionate about developing brand-specific strategies & constantly seek out innovative partners/platforms to identify new opportunities.
  • An individual who demonstrates the ability to navigate a portfolio of brands within a larger conglomerate or business group, gain an understanding of their unique company architectures, to build & strengthen relationships with essential stakeholders
  • A person that is well versed in media who can utilize resources to help guide clients marketing goals in their respective markets (syndicated, proprietary, analyst data)
  • Understand & adopt new techniques & technologies that are relevant for clients media strategies
