StartupBus NYC will be holding a six hour intensive workshop for entrepreneurs at all levels.
This is not a hackathon or a competition; it is a rare chance to meet the community behind The StartupBus, to network with other people interested in startups, and to share knowledge, get advice, and learn from the experiences of others. The event will follow a fluid agenda in an unconference-like fashion, and topics of discussion will be decided upon by participants for multiple sessions. Topics could include:
- Crafting a pitch
- Finding investors and funding
- How design can make or break your startup
- Business models
- Revenue generation
- User acquisition
- Being lean
- Testing (user profiling, A/B, market research)
- Finding collaborators
- Demoing and 'Demo Driven Development'
- Marketing
The day may look like this:
10:00a.m. Conference start! Get coffee & energy bars, mingle
