Warby Parker is on the lookout for a seasoned Director of Talent Acquisition to develop & implement innovative recruiting strategies across our growing business. In this position, you'll be responsible for impacting metrics & define measurable milestones to support our Retail, Corporate, Technology, Customer Experience, & Optical Lab recruiters. Our ideal candidate is an innovative leader focused on driving operational & creative efficiencies across the entire Talent department. What youll do:

  • Lead, manage, & develop our Talent team, supporting 10+ recruiters working within our Retail, Corporate, Tech, Customer Experience, & Optical Lab functions
  • Understand Warby Parkers business, brand, & culture to create best-in-class & inclusive candidate experiences
  • Develop & execute a sourcing strategy using a combination of talent branding, external search & postings, direct sourcing, social media, internal talent mining, identifying new talent pools, & other relevant methods
  • Leverage the application tracking system to regularly report on key recruiting metrics, using insights to inform strategy & decision-making
  • Implement innovative recruiting strategies to fill open roles quickly, efficiently, & within budget
  • Partner with the Diversity & Inclusion team to put forth strategies to ensure skilled, diverse talent is being sourced & screened for all open positions, across all levels
  • Gather feedback to continuously improve our recruiting process, making sure that our process is inclusive, efficient, streamlined, & focused on the candidate experience
  • Chip in & recruit for senior & hard-to-fill open roles as needed
  • Bring a strong point-of-view that drives out-of-the-box thinking & motivates your team
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors, owning their recruiting budgets, events, job postings, & other tools

Who you are:

  • Armed with 10+ years of recruiting & people leadership, preferably in a high-growth tech environment
  • Backed by a successful track record of recruiting for a variety of roles, levels, & functions (experience recruiting for tech & senior roles is a big-time bonus)
  • An entrepreneurial spirit who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Confident managing through ambiguity
  • Decisive & ready to state your case to hiring managers & senior leaders
  • Process-oriented & metrics-driven
  • An expert at maneuvering applicant tracking systems & leading vendor negotiations
  • An excellent communicator, collaborator, & relationship-builder
  • An outstanding people manager (and person in general!)
  • Innovative & up-to-date on the latest & greatest recruiting strategies, technologies, & tools
  • A complete natural at making connections & meeting new people
  • Able to use feedback as fuel to continuously improve yourself & your team
