We are looking for an ambitious & hardworking Sr. Commercial Associate to join the FanDuel Canada team. You will be actively involved in both the sportsbook & casino verticals, driving x-functional projects with actionable insights to continuously improve business performance. This is an incredible opportunity to work with stakeholders across various functions to learn & operate a business.

Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Drive x-functional projects to tackle top commercial priorities including funnel conversion, promo efficiency, margin enhancement, casino x-sell, etc.
  • Actively monitor market trends, industry development & business performance & report regularly to the leadership & cross functional teams
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the business on a regular cadence to review / improve performance through processes including:
    • Ongoing review of marketing efficiencies (acquisition / retention)
    • Supporting Traders on margin analysis
    • Product roadmap prioritization
    • Finance budgeting / forecasting, & ongoing review of cost of sales
    • Collaborating with Commercial Analytics to answer challenging questions with data
    • Monthly Performance Review & Annual Strategic Planning
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations with supporting financial analysis for leadership, x-Functional, & team meetings


What were looking for in our next teammate

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in an analytical, technical or commercial field preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in a highly numerate major (Math, Stats, Econ, etc.) or relevant experience in data, strategy, finance and/or business analysis
  • Strong proficiency in PowerPoint & Excel required
  • Experience with KNIME & Tableau preferred
  • Strong personal organizational & time management skills, able to juggle multiple complex projects
  • Experience using a variety of modelling approaches to forecast future customer & business behavior
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills - demonstrable track record of influencing up, down & across organizations
  • Experience collaboratively working with colleagues in other countries & time zones
  • Interest in Fantasy Sports and/or Sports Gaming preferred
