We are looking for seasoned freelance UI/Web Designers who can collaborate cross-functionally to bring brand stories & business objectives to life in the digital space. Youll help established brands & new startups alike deliver best-in-class web experiences across every screen. Every project looks different, but all are uniquely challenging & highly rewarding.

Whos on the team?

Youll be joining a tightly-knit team working with emerging & established brands across CPG, fashion, food & beverage, financial services, health & wellness, technology, & more. The team is an intentional, collaborative, & relentlessly curious mix of strategists, creators, & technology partners with one united goal: making web experiences more beautiful, rewarding, & accessible for their end users and their owners. 

As a UI/Web Designer, you will:

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with brand, strategy, account, PM, UX, & Copywriting peers & effectively manage multiple projects & deadlines.
  • Participate in the full project lifecycle from ideation, to handoff, to launch.
  • Work in an agile environment with an iterative design process, motivated by group critique.
  • Support your team in strategizing & implementing new/evolving workflows & processes to tackle the unique challenges of each project & client.
  • Work across the design spectrum, from strategy to pixel-level detail, including concept development, refinement, rollout, & production support.
  • Understand the technical & creative constraints of a project, making strategic compromises with client stakeholders when necessary. 
  • Partner closely with creative peers to ensure consistency & cohesion across every step of the website creation process.
  • Where applicable, apply your skill set to real-time consulting & problem-solving in a collaborative environment with clients. 


  • 5+ years relevant studio or in-house experience with small & large-scale websites.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates applied knowledge of usability, responsiveness, user-centered design, & visual storytelling across a variety of projects. Your work should show attention to detail in every aspect & a strong capacity for both logical & creative thinking; clearly articulating the problem & rationale for design solutions.
  • An agile self-starter, able to contribute to projects with varying levels of direction, & pivot gracefully as plans shift.
  • The ability & desire to present your work clearly & thoughtfully to teammates & clients at all stages of a project.
  • Oral & written communication skills to articulately express the rationale behind your decisions.
  • A deep understanding of UX & how copy, design, & development support each other.
  • Thorough knowledge of current & rising UX/UI & design trends & best practices, & the ability to apply them strategically & intentionally to each project.
  • Comfort with digging into & designing for a variety of industries & niches, & flexing your skill set accordingly.
  • A love for design & a solid understanding of typography, photography, interaction, & technology.
  • Solid familiarity with best practices in executing deliverables & handing off to development partners.
  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, & Google Workspace.
  • Bonus points for photography, motion graphics skills, front end development experience, and/or familiarity with prototyping tools.
