As aReimbursement Specialist, Payment Posting, you play an important role in the overall success of the company. Working with our billing tool provider, you will drive payment for our services, & by partnering with colleagues in Finance & Client Services. You will facilitate optimized billing processes & operations that are aligned with Guardant Health's mission & values.
You will be responsible for appropriately posting cash receipts & EOBs in the billing tool & ensure that daily cash from the lockbox is reconciled to patient accounts. Strong attention to detail is critical. Strong communication & troubleshooting skills are required to manage unbalanced remittance advice directly with payers.
You are interested in being on the ground floor of a dynamic, fast paced organization. You are organized & have strong attention to detail, are a self-starter & can work with minimal supervision. Tech savvy & analytical, you enjoy unpacking & resolving complex issues. Customer service is in your DNA, & you are known for your ability to communicate effectively through even the most tangled scenarios.
You are very detail oriented & have strong mathematical skills, evidenced by a prior history of month end & quarter end close in prior roles. Your background includes three years of work experience with health care claims posting, including knowledge of health plan regulations & processes. The ideal candidate has previously had exposure to managing incoming cash from multiple lockboxes, ACH payment, & wire transfer. You have managed credit card processing with multiple gateways & merchant accounts as well as check scanners. Your previous experience in similar roles enables you to hit the ground running, & contribute insights & solutions to your team.
Experience with laboratory reimbursement, EDI enrollment, Payer Portal setup & management, Xifin & Sarbanes Oxleycontrols (SOX) are a plus.
Employee may be required to lift routine office supplies up to 25 lbsand use office equipment. Majority of the work is performed in a desk/office environment; however, there may be exposure to high noise levels, fumes, & biohazard material in the laboratory environment. Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
