We're looking for a creative, strategic Senior Designer to join our new Brand Experiences team, within New Product Development, Innovation & Design to help revolutionize the way people pay.
This designer will report to the Design Director for Brand Experiences to bring brand storytelling, strategy, design, & experience to life. S/he will work closely & collaboratively with product, brand, marketing, content, business development, & sales to inform & push the boundaries of our Customer Experience.
You will be empowered & challenged to explore concepts & opportunities to evolve our Customer Experience. This position requires you to be self-motivated, proactive, & be able to thrive with a level of ambiguity.
Collaborate with product, design, brand & marketing to create a unified end-to-end Customer Experience
Help evolve existing digital, B2B, B2C, & B2B2C user experiences
Bring powerful human insights to life through strategy & design
Develop creative systems, style guides, & any other processes necessary to execute our brand strategy & deliver consistent brand experiences both online & offline
Spark fresh ideas that are infused in our culture & our products
Lead multiple projects concurrently & manage stakeholders
Provide & translate insightful data through research, interviews, testing, collaboration, & brainstorming
Infuse & evolve the Visa brand story in all touchpoints through visuals, voice, & experience
Commission & synthesize research, collaborating with internal research team as well as working with agencies
Be an advocate for our customers
A minimum 5+ years in related professional work
Passionate about creating great user experiences to the point of obsession
Experience designing world-class user interfaces for the web & mobile.
Strong storytelling abilities, both written & visual
Strong verbal & written communication skills
Proven ability to work independently, collaboratively, & also provide guidance & direction to help others
Enthusiasm & passion for quality
This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit & stand at a desk, communicate in person & by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones & computers, & reach with hands & arms.
