TheAccount Specialist will focus on maintaining & expanding CarGurus' existing customer base in the UK market through the analysis of performance data, prospecting of potential up-sell & cross-sell opportunities, & mitigation of customer churn. Additionally, you will be responsible for active account management for smaller independent accounts including, but not limited to, onboarding new accounts & addressing & resolving all issues that customers may encounter with their subscriptions. As a skilled sales professional, it is critical that you are persuasive & self-motivated, as you will manage your own time, set priorities, forecast your pipelines, & meet monthly goals.

Our growing customer base will have various questions about CarGurus, so strong customer service skills, ability to listen & respond to dealers, & resolve all queries in a timely manner would be key for your success.

In this role, you will carry a quota reflective of the size of your account base, you must also be comfortable providing feedback to the larger CarGurus organization by bringing strong analytical thinking, presentation, & problem-solving skills.This is a great opportunity to join a successful inside sales team, with multiple opportunities for career growth & progression.

Who You Are:

  • 1-2 years of sales experience working within a target driven sales environment
  • Strong focus on customer service
  • Retention/nurturing, upselling/cross-selling experience is a must, & experience carrying a quota
  • Churn reduction experience would be an advantage
  • Ability to negotiate & build strong rapport/relationships with clients
  • Good organizational & communication abilities
  • Able to adapt to change within a rapidly evolving business environment
  • Automotive/ car industry experience would be a plus
