Warby Parker is searching for a seasoned Human Resources Business Partner to support various corporate departments & serve as the main liaison between the People team & other arms of our business. In this role, youll oversee the implementation of programs that align with our business objectives & core values. Additionally, youll be a subject-matter expert in managing employee relations & creating, implementing, & standardizing policies. Contributing at both hands-on & strategic levels, youll work to deploy best-in-class people practices & cultivate the Warby Parker culture as we grow. What youll do:

  • Provide strategic guidance & tactical support to various corporate departments at our New York headquarters & remotelyso we can achieve our goals & cultivate a productive, innovative, & inclusive work environment
  • Partner with colleagues across the People team to deploy HR programs & initiatives that support the employee lifecycle for our teams
  • Make development-related recommendations & implement appropriate solutions
  • Anticipate & proactively manage areas of change in order to mitigate risk & avoid escalation
  • Analyze trends & metrics in partnership with the People Operations team to develop solutions, programs, & policies
  • Direct our approaches to organizational design so we can leverage staffing & talent needs & drive succession planning
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert for employee-related questions & concerns
  • Manage employee relations as well as company policies, procedures, & compliance programs
  • Investigate workplace issues & promote positive employee relations in partnership with the Legal team

Who you are:

  • Backed by 7+ years of HR experience in corporate settings, supporting various departments; additional experience in companies with various hourly workforces is a bonus
  • An entrepreneurial spirit who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • A calm & confident leader, even (or especially!) when managing through ambiguity
  • A clear, effective communicator whos comfortable speaking with coworkers at all levels of the organization, including C-suite executives 
  • Equipped with a strong point of view & unafraid to disagree with business leaders
  • Comfortable collaborating & building relationships across departments
  • A natural team player who can work effectively with managers & partners, on-site or remotely
  • Not on the Office of Inspector Generals List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE)

The salary range for the Senior Human Resources Business Partner, Corporate role in New York City is $131,250$150,000. Warby Parker, in good faith, believes that the posted salary range is accurate for this role in New York City at the time of posting. Warby Parker may pay more or less than the posted range based on factors such as relevant experience & skills, qualifications & location, among others. This range may be modified in the future. In addition to base salary, this role is also eligible to receive a cash bonus & an equity bonus as part of the total compensation package. Details & eligibility will be discussed during the application process.
