The Tripadvisor Finance Business Intelligence team is seeking an enthusiastic data analyst who loves playing with data, who can partner with technical & non-technical stakeholders, manage ETLs & develop user-friendly visualizations that help decision making.

What Youll Do

• Understand data needs of the finance team & broader Tripadvisor stakeholders, identify ways to build needed datasets & present those as useful visualizations to the stakeholders.
• Youll take requirements from users, design & develop ETLs to fulfill those requirements.
• Analyze data, identify discrepancies & gaps in data, clean data & build efficient & reusable data pipelines.
• Build insightful visualizations that are easy to understand & analyze. Your dashboards will support the Executive Leadership Teams decision-making process. 
• Learn tools developed by Tripadvisors data engineering teams & use those to manage BAU processes.

What We Seek

• 1-2 years of experience in a data-focused role.
• Education: Bachelor's Degree, with coursework in an analytical field (math, economics, engineering, statistics, etc.) or quantitative research experience
• Experience with data manipulation in SQL, R, Python, or another tool, experience with Snowflake is a plus
• Technical aptitude to learn new tools, technologies, & methodologies
• Enthusiasm for problem-solving & exploring & deriving insights from large datasets
• Ability to translate complex analysis findings into a clear narrative & actionable insights to communicate to stakeholders
• Experience visualizing data for wide consumption, with Tableau experience a plus
• Eagerness to help other team members & find active ways to contribute to the team
• Proactive not reactive, with ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
