The team's mission lies at the core of Reddit's success as a platform: we build & deliver features for Reddit communities at scale, ranging from enabling smooth & effective community & content creation, applying a growth framework to activate new communities, to equipping moderators with the tools they need to succeed. • Work cross-functionally with product, design, & other engineering managers to plan product & business strategy, & to build novel products & features that our half-billion users will love.
  • Participate in the full development cycle: design, development, test, experimentation, analysis, & launch. Youll be reviewing code & design docs, giving feedback on product specs & mocks, & generally helping out wherever is needed.
  • Coach & mentor engineers on the team to further their professional development.
  • Set & enable a culture of metrics led execution, with efficient processes & strong levels of transparency.

  • Entrepreneurial spirit. You must be self-directed, innovative, & biased towards action in fast-paced environments. You live to build new things & thrive in ambiguity & even failure.
  • Excellent communication skills. You must be able to collaborate effectively with teams in a fully remote environment, & discuss complex topics with technical & non-technical audiences
