Job Description

Our fast-paced Sales Organization has an infectiously positive attitude & commitment to win. We are looking for Account Executives for our Small & Medium BusinessSales Team. Your entrepreneurial spirit & passion for problem-solving help you find opportunities for Square to help merchants grow. Your extraordinary communication skills help you connect with customers by email & phone - quickly establishing trust & rapport, & building value throughout the sales process.

You will:

  • Consistently exceed quarterly sales goals

  • Lead in developing & circulating your proven best practices which are the foundation of this growing team

  • Listen to the needs of the market & share with Product, Marketing & Partnerships teams

  • Implement creative ways to improve our customer relationships, tailor & share performance-enhancing suggestions

  • Act as an outward-facing ambassador of Square's beliefs, brand, & products

  • Communicate constantly with prospects via phone & email (80% of time)

  • Have fun & not take yourself too seriously

Qualifications

You have:

  • Consistent overachievement of quota

  • 1+ year in a qualifying or prospecting role required

  • A BA/BS degree or relevant experience

  • Previous experience and/or strong interest in outbound sales & prospecting

  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills

  • Shown ability to multi-task & run multiple projects while paying strict attention to detail

  • Good listening skills

  • An assertive, resilient & persuasive personality

  • An analytical, structured thought process with the ability to assess business opportunities & read prospective buyers
