Flamingo is looking for a superstar intern to join our Marketing Team.
The ideal candidate is brimming with ideas & passionate about the beauty & wellness space. Theyre eager to be part of a small, awesome team & make a big impact in bringing Flamingos influencer strategy to life.
About the team
Influencer Marketing sits under the Flamingo Brand Marketing team to bring the brand to life through community & influencer partnerships. This role would report to the Senior Influencer & Community Associate, but work closely with teammates (Social Media Manager, Partnerships Manager, Brand Director) across all channels. The team is creative & diligent, with a commitment to doing the things that are right for the brand & our goals.
Who is this person? What experience do they have so far?
With this role, we value personality, work ethic, & an enthusiasm for what were building over experience.
The ideal candidate has a million ideas about what we could be doing & is excited to share them & help bring them to life. They are tapped into a broader conversation about the ways women are portrayed in culture, & want to be a part of pushing that forward in a positive & meaningful direction.
Theyre a clear communicator, strong writer, & has an eye for detail. Theyre just as comfortable sending a charming cold email as they are discussing the latest trends in body care (nothing is TMI in our office!).
They have a no-task-too small attitude (like the rest of the team), & can manage a lot of information with organization & efficiency.
What they will accomplish:
- Engage with, & build, our community through social media @meetflamingo
- Capture & archive UGC in the Google Drive for the team to reference for marketing needs
- Research potential partners who align with our goals, & execute thoughtful seeding to introduce people to our products
- Help vet & respond to incoming influencer & partnership requests through the partnership email
- Manage the shipping doc each day to make sure products go out to influencers & partners in a timely manner
- Organize product inventory for the Flamingo team
- Track posts for social campaigns & organize data / content in google docs to share with the larger team
- Comfortable with FedEx & messenger services
Everyone has a private body care routine. Places they want hair, places they dont, & ways of caring for & removing it. Meet Flamingo, body care that starts with hair.
