Job Description:

Factor_ a brand of HelloFresh is seeking a Procurement Buyer to work directly with the purchasing manager to ensure food buying across the organization is tracked & managed efficiently.

You will... 

• Own weekly purchasing activities for a variety of food or packaging Stock Keeping Units (SKUs), ensuring the right product is at the right place at the right time
• Partner with multiple distribution centers, warehouse locations, & suppliers to ensure timely deliveries & inventories match demand requirements
• Own operational relationships with a dynamic network of suppliers & vendors, holding suppliers accountable to on-time delivery & excellent quality
• Manage key weekly operations processes including placing POs, tracking freight, managing production issues, paying invoices, analyzing data & managing inventory & capacity levels
• Resolve any unforeseen problems with suppliers relating to operations, purchasing or quality/performance quickly & professionally 
• Drive cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives by recommending & testing new processes & implementing positive change
• Work alongside a driven, fast-paced team to continue building, growing, & improving our processes & capabilities

At a minimum, you have... 

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience 
• 3+ years of procurement and/or sourcing experience 
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically MS Excel 
• Flexibly to work weekends (on occasion) 

Compensation: 77,000-82,000
