As a Program Manager at Visa, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary programs for the DPS Program Management team. You will plan requirements with stakeholders & guide programs through the entire lifecycle considering all stakeholder inputs across different functions. This includes monitoring project schedules & working with stakeholders to ensure that multiple, simultaneous projects are working together to drive to the success of an entire program.
You will also be supporting project stakeholders in identifying risks & bottle necks, & using your influence to alleviate those roadblocks. You will be responsible for the execution & delivery through completion, for a program. Programs can often span office locations & time zones, & your responsibility will be to keep all stakeholders coordinated on the program's status, milestones & deadlines.
The person filling this position will be responsible & accountable for coordinating activities & communicating status of projects related to new products, features & services that drive client satisfaction, differentiate the Visa DPS product offering, & drive Visa DPS Service revenues.
Will plan, execute, & deliver projects through completion for a product or program
Independently manage a range of projects & initiatives, providing structure through the full lifecycle
Lead a cross functional team consisting of individual contributors & managers who are conceptualizing, rationalizing, & driving multiple simultaneous projects
Work with variety of stakeholders to manage scope, secure support & resources for execution, & deploy processes that improve day-to-day operations
Reconcile competing priorities, utilize synergies, align complementary initiatives, & build coalitions among cross-functional partners
Work through challenges, identify bottlenecks & dependencies, & unblock teams for execution
Work daily with cross functional teams to gather & communicate project status, progress, milestones, deliverables, outcomes, & lessons learned to all applicable parties
Understand & report project impact & fit on overall program development budget
Demonstrates Visa Leadership principles
4 years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD degree
7-10 years of work experience & a Bachelor's Degree or 6 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 years of experience with a PhD.
Strong product development skills with a sound understanding of payment technology, risk & fraud management, other ecosystem requirements
3+ years of experience in the payments industry (e.g. payment processing, acquiring, payment technology provider, payment brand etc.)
3+ years of experience in technical or business program/project management
Proficiency with linear software development life cycles & software development methodologies such as Agile (SAFe) & waterfall.
Excellent communications skills, both oral & written. Must be able to communicate effectively & confidently with users, team members & management.
Aptitude to collaborate with cross functional teams to build robust, reliable & scalable payment solutions
Aptitude for understanding, digesting & analyzing complex systems integration.
Strong facilitation skills. Must be able to elicit requirements from various personalities across organizational & geographical boundaries.
Must be flexible & willing to undertake a wide variety of challenging tasks.
Ability to work some flexible hours due to varying time zones across Visa's regions.
Knowledge in issuer processing technology or solutions
