Reporting into our Director, People Partner, the People Partner will help drive our People strategy & support our Technology, Product & Security business units that reside in our Austin HQ. We are looking for a solutions-oriented change agent who has a proven track record of partnering across an organization to drive results. This work includes partnering throughout the organization on People processes, supporting leadership on different people relations scenarios, & assisting our People Partner function in designing & executing programs that support our great people.


What You Will Do:

  • Serve as the HRBP to our Austin HQ mainly comprised of Technology, Product & Security business units, & establish yourself as a trusted advisor within the Austin office & throughout the organization by:
    • Partnering across all levels of the organization to retain, develop, & motivate people to achieve their fullest potential by using data & business insights to proactively identify opportunities to improve performance, retention, & employee experience 
    • Assisting leadership teams with employee relation issues, providing coaching & counsel to employees on employee matters, exit interviews, employee engagement, performance plans, retention strategies, & other ad-hoc People initiatives
    • Effectively & efficiently executing People programs & initiatives within the business & ensure they achieve intended outcomes- this includes workforce planning, performance management, talent development, & succession planning
    • Continually pursuing team, function & organizational improvement by working with the Senior HRBPs in developing innovative People strategies & driving execution & change management through the effective use of talent tools & resources 
    • Supporting People Coordinators in employee lifecycle management, including onboarding, I-9 verification, orientation, employment verifications, & off-boarding for the site, & performing other People Operations duties as assigned; such as EEOC reporting, & DEIB initiatives
    • Partnering with the Austin Site Lead, Office manager, & leadership to strategize & execute on all site related people activities & initiatives
    • Driving the Technology internship program representing CLEAR at local universities to help build relationships & brand recognition at top technology programs in the Austin area
    • Remaining updated on Human Resources trends & employment laws to ensure compliance with applicable local, state, & federal regulations
    • Providing compensation support including salary planning, approval of salary actions, promotions, & job re-leveling

Who You Are:

  • 5+ years in a People function, or as an HRBP
  • Demonstrated experience building trusted relationships, effectively coaching & advising teams on organizational issues & challenges
  • Experience in campus recruiting and/or full life cycle recruiting
  • Strengths in:
    • Working in an entrepreneurial environment requiring strong multi-tasking abilities
    • Problem solving, critical thinking, & self-initiative
    • Communicating & influencing at different levels of the organization to achieve results
    • Effective & persuasive written & verbal communication & interpersonal skills; high quality document & report preparation
    • Coaching teams to use company best practices for maximum effectiveness
    • Working as a team member- building & maintaining a positive work environment across the network
    • Data insights & analytics
  • Knowledge & experience in core People functions including strategic people planning, workforce planning, talent management & development, engagement & retention, compensation, HR systems & employee relations
