With the continued growth of our international business, Wattpad WEBTOON Studios (WWS) is seeking a driven & accomplished business development executive to strategically grow its entertainment & publishing businesses in key international markets. Reporting to the Managing Director, International & in close collaboration with many roles across the Studio, you will prospect & structure external business opportunities across film, TV, animation & books to accelerate the international growth plans of the studio.
This role will contribute meaningfully to drive revenue & create more opportunities for our international creators to have their IP published & adapted into entertainment properties. You will prospect & work with top-tier studios, networks, platforms & publishers to find meaningful & innovative ways to grow our pipeline of projects, while building the right internal processes to service these opportunities. The ideal candidate should have highly effective problem solving & analytical skills, a nose for strategic value, demonstrated interpersonal excellence, & a drive to always prioritize resources.
