What's it all about?
Merchant Sales & Acquiring (MS&A) is a global team that drives growth for Visa through relationships with the top acquirers, merchants & other payment enablers. The UK & Ireland is the largest market for MS&A in Europe, and, as a multi-hundred million-dollar business, is the single largest contributor to Visa's P&L in the UK & Ireland. Our team builds partnerships with some of the largest acquirers in the world & works with major household name merchants
The role of Head of Emerging Merchant Enablers is a newly created role designed to bring a new level of focus to building relationships with organisations that facilitate/enable merchants & Acquirers in accepting payments. These organisations include Online Payment Gateways, Payment Service Providers, Processors & Integrated Software Vendors. The role will also be responsible for developing & assisting new & smaller Acquirers, including Fintechs entering the payment acceptance space.
What we're after
Applicants should have a high level of customer focus, & be experienced at senior levels in relationship management, preferably in a fintech or developing technology area.
Strong collaborative skills are vital, as a key success factor will be working across teams in both the UK & Ireland as well as across Merchant Sales & Acquiring in the Europe region & globally.
Business development skills & experience are essential, with a strong commercial focus to drive outcomes that are great for both our customers & Visa.
