As a Senior Account Manager Business Travel you will be responsible for the business travel account management team in the appointed market. You will be managing & motivating the most precious resource we have, our people.

You support BV by informing new business customers about the services offered by BV, & at the same time you will also support BV in managing & maintaining its existing relationship with high potential business clients. You have a sixth sense for a great customer experience & you always keep your eye on the end-user.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager in the DACH region to take on this 12 month maternity cover assignment. The SAM should be located within the following cities: Frankfurt, Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Dsseldorf, Vienna, Zurich


  • Manage & motivated a team of Enterprise- & Medium Account Managers Business Travel
  • You are in direct contact with high potential business clients of BV
  • Promote the BV brand name & its online reservation services to the high potential business clients;
  • Support BV in building & maintaining a professional network within the B2B travel space;
  • Support BV in bringing the product closer to its business customers; from initial sign-up, to onboarding & finally making for Business their preferred choice
  • You will follow-up on BVs centralized marketing campaigns
  • You use BVs marketings lead scoring model to prioritize your business support efforts
  • Build & further improve relationships with existing & new business clients. You own every aspect of these personal interactions
  • Work with high potential business clients on long-term goals & new initiatives to support BV in maximizing growth & meeting customer needs. Setup internal growth strategy plan
  • Support BV in monitoring the success of each account & managing client relationships by advising on products & services
  • Draft presentations that are in line with the overall messaging
  • Support BVs marketing in localizing tools like brochures & flyers
  • Liaise with high potential business clients & internal support departments to solve ongoing issues
  • Aggregate & analyze feedback to support future product initiatives
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders across Customer Experience, Marketing, Product & Analytics in Amsterdam. Provide local perspective on preferred approach
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve the customer experience & improve operational efficiency
  • Generate awareness & execute BVs global marketing initiatives with a local approach
  • Leverage existing customers relationships to build a network of product ambassadors for Booking for Business
  • Provide training (workshops & webinars) to potential & existing clients. Present at relevant events


  • An experienced Senior Account Manager in the DACH region
  • People management skills
  • English & German speaker

  • You are able to set priorities for the team
  • You understand the dynamics of the travel sector, particularly hotels
  • You can use Excel, Powerpoint, & any other technology to help you manage opportunities
  • You have excellent communication skills & can influence the right people at the right level
  • You are reliable & results oriented
  • You have an extended & valuable B2B network
  • You have previously worked in a B2B environment
  • You are able to influence C-Level stakeholders
