THE ROLE:

As part of Pelotons Treasury team, this Treasury Manager position will help build out & manage Treasury Operations consisting of cash & liquidity management, investments, banking, accounts receivables, accounts payables, vendor management, corporate card & travel, with additional responsibilities to be added over time.  The ideal candidate has a strong analytical & project management skillset & enjoys working across a range of topics, from traditional finance & risk management to investments & payments.  Intellectual curiosity, creativity adaptability, & resourcefulness will be key success factors in this role.  This person will collaborate cross-functionally with internal & external stakeholders.  This role offers a great opportunity to learn & grow within a high energy, high growth organization.  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Overall responsibilities will include: 

• Develop & analyze core KPIs
• Develop recommendations to improve efficiency & overall performance.
• Manage the process to expand the Treasury operations platform to include new business operations & M&A integrations.  
• Create strong relationships with key stakeholders inside & external to Peloton, & collaborate on projects
• Create process maps, flowcharts, & related documentation; make recommendations to employ best practices 
• Ensure compliance of SOX controls & work with internal & external auditors

Banking:

• Develop & maintain relationships with banking & brokerage partners
• Manage the bank account structures & services, including design, selection, &   account/service implementation
• Perform bank fee analysis & negotiate fees with banking partners
• Research & propose value added products & services 

Cash management & investments: 

• Create & maintain short, medium, & long-term cash forecasts, perform cash flow analysis, & develop additional reporting
• Partner with Financial Systems Team to improve cash position & other reports
• Monitor the investments portfolio to ensure compliance with investment policy & analyze portfolio performance (e.g., maturity ladder, duration, product allocations, issuer specific exposures, etc.) 
• Negotiate deposit rates & research other products within the investment guidelines to optimize yields
• Monitor the market for impact & opportunities for the portfolio. 
• Manage allocation of cash to optimize returns while managing counterparty risk
• Manage ongoing funding of subsidiaries & monitor subsidiary balances to reduce FX exposures
• Develop in-house compliance & other models as necessary
• Prepare senior management level portfolio reporting on a recurring basis 

AP/ AR/ Vendor Management/ Corporate Card & Travel:

• Oversee projects to improve processes, increase automation, & create efficiencies
• Partner with AP, AR, Vendor Management & external teams to understand gaps & areas for improvement or innovation
• Prepare senior management level portfolio reporting on a recurring basis 
• Improve & create additional KPIs to better monitor queues & volumes
• Develop dashboards for the teams to help them operate more strategically & efficiently

• Perform cost/benefit & other quantitative analysis for new programs 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors Degree or Advanced degree 
• 5+ years relevant experience
• Excellent analytical & modelling skills
• Excellent Excel & Powerpoint skills
• Strong problem solving & decision-making skills
• Self-starter who is intellectually curious & not afraid to seek out projects independently
• Strong business acumen
