Product designers at Squarespace are embedded within product teams that are deeply collaborative, & each member is directly responsible for the teams success.
Were looking for a Product Designer to work with the Scheduling team to help entrepreneurs start & grow their online businesses. This team allows users to schedule appointments directly on their website seamlessly, taking away the administrative burden of their business so users can focus on what they love. You will own the client scheduling experience that allows our small businesses to sell their time online, including a revamp of our existing designs & infrastructure & weaving the experience more tightly into Squarespaces ecosystem.
You will report to a Design Lead on the Commerce team.

Build end-to-end user experiences
Collaborate with product & engineering teams from concept through delivery & beyond
Help define key metrics in order to track success & business impact
Maintain clear team alignment around goals & priorities
Partner with research on testing plans & ways to measure success
Facilitate user research & testing, ensuring usability & product consistency
Collaborate with our Design Systems team to ensure your work integrates into our ecosystem
Love talking to users & looking at data in equal measure
4+ years of experience
Deep experience with sketching, wireframes, visual design, & prototyping for product & web design experiences
Experience facilitating user research & usability testing
Understand information architecture & service design
Use a systems approach to design
Strong presentation & storytelling skills with the ability to tailor your context to different audiences
Passion for our product & the impact that it has in the world
A portfolio of relevant design work is required for consideration
Our Product Design team is made up of designers from a variety of backgrounds & we value the diverse perspective this brings; therefore, we do not require a certain degree (Bachelors, Masters) in order to be considered.
