As an Associate Account Manager at CarGurus, your main task will be to increase the retention of our client base. You will work in tandem with the Retention team to qualify accounts, have high-level discussions, & uncover opportunities all in an attempt to retain business. You will also work with our high-risk clients to ensure that payment information is up to date to prevent cancellation.
What You'll Do:
- Prospecting using Salesforce
- Calling existing clients & setting appointments with Retention reps
- Discussing pricing options & sending contracts
- Calling delinquent clients in an attempt to clear up billing issues
- Identifying cancellation reasons
- Updating contract agreements with existing clients
Who You Are:
- Bachelors degree
- Strong prioritization & time management skills
- Ability to stay focused on task & follow directions precisely
- Strong communication skills, both verbal & written
- Experience with Salesforce.com experience a plus
You will have the opportunity to learn sales skills as well as interact with clients on a daily basis. It is essential that you are detail-oriented as meticulous note-taking will be required. Any experience with sales is a plus, collegiate experience counts. This will be a team-work heavy job, as you will be working the opportunity pools of existing Retention representatives. You will work together to retain as much business as possible in a given month. Interpersonal skills & a willingness to work with those around you is non-negotiable.
