About the Team:

Revenue at RTR is a high visibility, fast-paced, strategic team within the Consumer Org responsible for setting the revenue goals & key business metrics for the company. We are stewards of creating & growing a successful, revenue generating, scalable business. We are tasked with monitoring performance & unlocking new opportunities to hit goals & drive growth. We partner closely with cross-functional teams such as Marketing & Product to influence roadmaps & strategies & to ensure impactful execution of revenue initiatives.

About the Role:

Rent the Runway is looking for an Associate Manager or Manager to join the Revenue Growth team. You should be a self-starter with immense curiosity & strong analytical skills as well as an interest and/or background in e-commerce & direct-to-consumer sales. This is an ideal role for someone who wants to work as a high-impact individual contributor in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, & data conscious environment. In this role, you are directly contributing to the companys success by identifying, structuring, analyzing, & recommending solutions to our biggest strategic growth questions. Your work will help ensure that we are becoming the leading circular fashion platform. 

As an Associate Manager/Manager on the Revenue Growth team, you will be responsible for generating insights that shape strategic decisions related to driving revenue growth & customer acquisition within the Consumer organization. You will also be responsible for implementing & executing growth strategies & tactics on an ongoing basis. You should be a proactive, hands-on teamplayer who is highly comfortable synthesizing data into insights & communicating them to cross-functional stakeholders. You will build & forge strong connections with the Data/Analytics, Finance, Marketing & Product functions within RTR & be a driver & executor of strategies within the Revenue Growth team & broader cross-functional Consumer organization.

Responsibilities: 

  • Perform & leverage data-driven analyses to support & develop business strategy & decision making.
  • Monitor business performance across key metrics (program, channel, customer segment, etc.) & develop & execute plans to drive customer & revenue growth. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to implement business strategies & execute growth-related initiatives.  
  • Identify issues, develop hypotheses, & execute in-depth analyses & financial models to translate data into relevant insights & make recommendations to Rent the Runways leadership team based on your findings.
  • Own promotional campaigns, including leading execution across channels, overseeing performance to ensure achievement of business objectives & sharing results & learnings with the leadership team

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Technology, Finance, Business or related fields
  • 3+ years work experience, with preference for consumer tech companies, management consulting or banking 
  • Ability to run independent analyses & access data via SQL to perform those analyses
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with using relational databases & writing queries in SQL is a plus
  • Experience with business intelligence tools such as Looker and/or Tableau
  • You have excellent interpersonal, listening, & communication skills - you can use verbal & written communication to express ideas clearly, & succinctly, including slide composition.
