The Company

Harrys is a mens grooming brand that was built out of respect for quality craftsmanship, simple design, modern convenience & for guys who know they shouldnt have to overpay for a great shave. We own our razor blade factory in Germany & sell our products directly on our website, meaning were able to deliver exceptional value & experiences to our customers.

Since launching in the US in early 2013 we have been blown away by the customer response to our brand, thanks to the over 5 million guys who have trusted Harrys for a great shave. As part of our mission to become a global grooming brand we launched Harrys in the UK in July 2017 & were off to a very strong start! About the Team

The Accounting team at Harrys is a part of Global Finance & responsible for recording transactions, validating completeness & accuracy, recording & presenting actual results of the financials of the company. The team plays a critical role in enabling senior management to make fast, data-driven strategic decisions for the Harrys brand in the UK as well as making sure everything in the business operates smoothly.

The Role

We are looking for an Accounts Assistent to join our UK finance team in a fast paced, young & vibrant company. At Harrys, finance isnt only your month-end close type of team. While the day to day job is recording & reporting financial information to the greater business, thats only the start of what youll do. Youll also work on various special projects across the business, allowing you the ability to work closely with other functions across the business including operations, marketing, legal, as well as the wider global finance team.

Heres a few things that you will do:

  • Perform a key role in the monthly & quarterly close processes
  • Daily cash & sales processing
  • Processing accounts payable & receivable, including dealing directly with our suppliers & customers
  • Completion of monthly reconciliations
  • Assist with the annual audit, including working directly with external auditors & requests
  • Working with the other members of the finance team to improve processes & the accuracy of our financial reporting
  • Working closely with cross functional stakeholders
  • Ad hoc tasks & projects

  • Eager to develop themselves in a career in finance
  • Previous experience within a finance function with the use of accounting software advantageous but not a necessity for the right candidate
  • Confident in the use of Excel
  • Organised with high attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills & someone that likes to work together as part of a team

  • Approachable, enthusiastic, & sees challenges as an opportunity to grow

Heres who youll work with:

  • Report directly to the UK Controller
  • Work daily with the other members of the UK finance team
  • Work closely with the greater global finance team in the US & Germany
  • Work side-by-side with the Operations, Marketing, Legal, Sales & other teams across the business
