Join our impactful compliance team at OnDeck. Youll have the opportunity to drive the compliance framework forward, shape the regulatory strategy, & be part of a dynamic & fun-loving team! This job will be located in our New York, NY office.

In this Compliance Officer role, you will:

  • Manage significant projects to bring OnDecks Compliance program to the next level
  • Implement & manage a new automated compliance management solution
  • Design enhanced compliance reporting & metrics for Management & the Board
  • Design & coordinate compliance communications & training
  • Assist the business implement compliance policies & procedures & other controls, & drive implementation of the compliance framework
  • Work with the External Affairs team on changes in the regulatory landscape & consequent compliance needs
  • Be a key contributor in helping to grow a dynamic, fast expanding company
  • Make a meaningful contribution to the company's future

Necessary qualifications for success:

  • Undergraduate degree
  • Minimum 8 years of compliance or regulatory-related experience, preferably in financial services
  • Knowledge of laws governing sale of lending products a plus
  • You are confident & energetic & can inspire the confidence of the business team, management, & colleagues
  • You have excellent project management skills & driving compliance related initiatives
  • You have experience dealing with compliance mangagement solutions/systems & are comfortable dealing with data & data analysis
  • You have the ability & desire to work both collaboratively & autonomously
  • You have the ability to critically analyze regulation & public policy
  • You have an interest in helping our small business borrowers grow their businesses
  • You have the highest ethical standards
