Were looking for a Sportsbook Commercial Director that will own the commercial strategy for FanDuels omnichannel roadmap across the retail Sportsbooks. This person will work cross-functionally to define & execute against a best-in-class strategy.

Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Provide analysis of available digital research & data to mine insights, generate strategies & measurements, identify appropriate channels & tactics, & successfully communicate them to the wider business
  • Generate omnichannel thought leadership & actively participate in cross departmental projects to communicate the overall vision & objectives
  • Maintain a forward-thinking approach to innovation & continuing to stay one-step ahead of our competitors
  • Assist with developing roadmap for omnichannel initiatives
  • Partner with Marketing & CRM teams to analyze customer data & utilize important information to improve conversion & share of wallet
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Product & Operations to identify opportunities to optimize customer acquisition, retention, & in venue customer experience
  • Understand & synthesize digital retailing trends & the immediate & long-term impacts, implications & opportunities the provide our business
  • Assess new investment ideas & build business cases to support the decision process that helps us drive our market share
  • Monitor the business performance, key drivers & trends, & report regularly to the leadership team
  • Sets aggressive & measurable goals for omnichannel activities with regards to revenue growth, penetration rates & cross property play
  • Develop & execute plans to maximize leveraging our market access partner loyalty programs to drive sportsbook revenue

What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Bachelors degree preferred  
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial/analytics/customer intelligence is preferable
  • Omnichannel experience with national multisite Retailer highly desired
  • Highly proficient with Excel with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to lead through influence & work with diverse counterparts across all levels of the organization
  • Strategic Mind-set: takes a long-term view & anticipates future trends & implications
  • Collaborates: is a team player - works with the team & stakeholders across the organization to get things done
  • Commercial acumen: has a nose for business & understand the levers
  • Experience in online businesses/ecommerce is a plus
  • Passionate about sport and/or gambling
  • Understand the different components of a P&L & is familiar with the budgeting process
  • Understanding of online/digital marketing
