The Role:

AlphaSights is looking for an ambitious & thoughtful individual to join the Learning & Development team (aka Professional Development team). Professional Development at AlphaSights provides opportunities for our employees to continuously grow their skills and, ultimately, to achieve their personal & professional goals. We are committed to supporting the learning & development of AlphaSights' most valuable resource: its people. You will work with the Manager of Professional Development to execute training & development programs for AlphaSights team members in the New York office.  A successful candidate will be excited about doing whatever it takes to support & enable coworkers to unlock their full potential. As a Professional Development Coordinator, your goal is to learn & understand how to be a talent professional, through developing the right behaviors & executing the fundamentals of the role in an error-free & efficient manner.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Focus on making the learner experience as seamless as possible by extensively preparing for Professional Development programs:
    • Champion our eLearning platform & help the team & wider functions innovate the way AlphaSights deploy learning throughout the organization (e.g. through digital learning, classroom-based, or blended learning channels) 
    • Enroll team members in training programs & distribute agendas, pre-readings, assessments, & other materials to participants
    • Collaborate with trainers & presenters to prepare their course materials
    • Field questions from colleagues about program availability & eligibility criteria
  • Develop AlphaSights approach to scaling digital learning:
    • Become an internal expert & role model on digital learning design & delivery
    • Create engaging digital content & support the workforce in building out our content library
    • Use analytics to drive learning outcomes & initiatives, following a systematized approach to training evaluation (e.g., Kirkpatrick Model)
  • Constantly improve & innovate Professional Development programming by soliciting feedback from participants, measuring learning outcomes, researching industry best practices, & endeavoring to make sessions as interactive & engaging as possible
  • Build minimum viable products to roll out & test in the organization, then undertake creative destruction to improve & re-launch excellent Professional Development tools & processes
  • Build relationships throughout the organization
  • Manage internal communications related to Professional Development
  • Align with the Human Resources & Recruiting teams to present a seamless talent narrative for candidates & employees

What We Look For:

  • 0-2 years of experience in Learning & Development or a related talent field 
  • Attained bachelor's degree. Masters degree is a plus
  • Fluency in English required
