As Head of Marketing Strategy & Analytics, you will be in charge of leveraging data & insights to deliver strategic inputs & impulse BlaBlaCar marketing strategy in 8+ markets & several product verticals (long distance carpool, commute carpool, bus, insurance).
You will manage a 5 people team composed of Analysts & Marketing Project Managers, & you will be the main central hub between local Marketing Managers, central CRM & Paid Channels teams, & Finance team.
Success in the role means you have built & shared the right analysis framework, & formulated relevant strategic recommendations, in order to make the most out of BlaBlaCar's local & central Marketing resources (teams & budget), & to maximize the company growth.
What you will directly contribute to :
Leverage data to understand awareness, acquisition, activation & retention dynamics, & help identify key growth & efficiency opportunities.
Build & improve relevant ROI framework for online & offline marketing initiatives
Build a strong network with your peers outside the company to ensure BlaBlaCar remains best in class in marketing analytics.
Collaborate with cross functional teams (Marketing, Data Engineers, Data Scientists & Data Analysts) to plan, facilitate, & develop Marketing Analytics projects, & make your stakeholders autonomous on data & analytics.
Based on own analysis & inputs from Marketing analytics, central CRM & Paid Channels, local Marketing & Finance teams, identify growth & marketing strategic priorities for each market, in line with the overall company strategy
Collaborate effectively with local & central stakeholders in order to align on strategic priorities & turn them into operational action plans
Set success KPIs to local & central marketing teams initiatives
Drive planning & re-evaluation of marketing budget allocation between countries & channels, in relationship with Finance & Local teams.
What you will need to be successful:
6+ years of work experience, including at least 3 years experience in Growth or Marketing in a Tech company. Experience working for a marketplace business is a strong plus.
Outstanding ability to build your strategies based on data
Fluent in at least a few online marketing channels (Paid channels, SEO, CRM). Offline channel experience (TV, OOH) is a strong plus.
Very good understanding of key marketing concepts (campaign measurement, audience targeting, attribution model, customer lifetime value etc.) & digital marketing industry trends.
Strategic thinker : able to see the big picture & balance long-term vision with short & medium-term goals
Strong leadership, collaboration, & communication skills. Ability to manage projects & drive decision making across multiple departments & stakeholders
Strong ability to synthesize information & simplify complexity. Consulting background is a strong plus.
Fluent written & spoken English (French is not mandatory)
