About the Job:

The Senior Manager of Copy & Content sits on the Brand & Integrated Marketing team & will own the brand voice & messaging to support marketing efforts across the business. This critical role requires a creative & imaginative individual who can produce original, provocative, & engaging written content that also drives business growth. From concepting to execution, they will work on everything from seasonal & brand campaigns to content franchises to website copy to writing emails. Clear, detail-oriented communicators who have a deep understanding of fashion & culture will move to the top of our list.

What Youll Do:

  • Bring RTRs new tone of voice to life in a fresh, compelling, & provocatively original way through full funnel copy & content 
  • Lead development of fashion-focused copy, styling content & promotional messaging for  emails, push, site, blog, collateral, packaging, & OTT (scripts)  
  • Partner with Art Directors & Designers on creative concepts for seasonal moments, designer launches & brand moments  Make sure copy & visuals work together to communicate the full picture.
  • Create innovative & original content franchises based on our evergreen brand & quarterly content strategy that live across the funnel 
  • Leverage channel best practices, data & performance insights to deliver effective revenue-driving content that resonates with customers
  • Report on performance of messaging across key channels & identify opportunities to optimize  
  • Collaborate with the social team to develop fresh & original social & creator campaigns, with a focus on TikTok 
  • Help with social & paid marketing copy as needed
  • Manage a Copywriter 

About You:

  • 6+ years of experience in house at a high-growth consumer facing brand (additional agency experience a plus) 
  • Experience managing, training & mentoring copywriters  
  • Excellent communication, editing/proofreading, & problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, creative writing, English or fashion emphasis preferred
  • Experience writing womens fashion copy (ecommerce experience a plus)   
  • Digital-first writing style that understands how to stands out on social platforms - specifically TikTok  
  • Deep understanding of current trends across fashion, music, art, design, food, travel & culture/the internet at largeDigital-first writing style that understands & stands our on social platforms
  • Ability to describe fashion trends & designers & give style advice to our modern customer in a sophisticated, friendly voice
  • Ability to work both alone & with a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Must be able to prioritize & handle multiple projects at once.

The anticipated base salary for this position is $134,000 - $168,000. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held.   This position is also eligible for equity compensation.
