Be a key contributor on Box's high performing Renewal Sales team. The Renewals Advisor will develop & drive the renewal process by reaching out to our annual subscription customers 120 days in advance of their contract end date & executing all phases of subscription renewal lifecycle. This includes up front communication, preparation of pricing options, identification of new use cases & expansion opportunities, revisions to terms & conditions, obtaining contract signatures & filing appropriate paperwork.


  • A minimum of two years experience in renewals, sales, account management or equivalent customer facing role

  • Must be motivated, goal oriented & able to work independently

  • Ability to organize, prioritize, complete activities & meet deadlines on a daily basis

  • Strong oral & written communication skills

  • Requires the ability to acquire an understanding of the general functions of other divisions & their role in assisting with Renewals

  • 4-year degree


  • Retain & increase subscription revenue, usage, subscriptions & market share in existing customer accounts

  • Achieve individual goals on a monthly basis

  • Engage in consultative discovery conversations to uncover account expansion & multi-year subscription opportunities

  • Verify contracts & review terms & conditions

  • Create proposals, including renewal rate calculations & contract preparation

  • Own & develop internal process for collaboration with inside & field sales teams

  • Contribute ideas to develop team process & best practices


  • Manage a portfolio of monthly renewals ensuring customer retention & high dollar over dollar renewal rates

  • Manage outbound communication to clients (e-mail & phone) & resolve issues and/or inquiries related to annual subscription contracts in an accurate & timely manner

  • Partner with sales team to provide seamless customer interaction

  • Work closely with finance & legal teams to ensure all contracts are accurate

  • Partner with other renewal team members as appropriate to assist with successful completion of renewal

  • Maintain a working knowledge of Box services
