WHY BOX NEEDS YOU?

The Marketing Operations Manager will work cross functionally to drive demand generation, improve campaign & productivity. The ideal candidate is an expert in problem solving but also has a business-oriented vision & is able to understand how operational roles solve everyday business needs. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Partner with marketers to design campaign plans & tactical strategies that ensure all build components of the campaign are aligned across impacted systems & teams

  • Running SQL queries for advanced segmentation requirements

  • Document & refine processes, programs & procedures to ensure team & campaign effectiveness

  • Monitor & report on effectiveness metrics related to marketing campaigns

  • Create & maintain templates that improve campaign efficiency & accuracy, including emails, landing pages, forms, segments, & reports

  • Educate marketing resources on how to achieve marketing objectives leveraging MarTech stack while upholding internal standards

  • Ability to identify & trouble shoot issues with campaign or data flow

WHO YOU ARE

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required

  • 5+ years of experience in a Marketing Operations, Demand Generation, and/or Marketing Systems/Technology role

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Marketo & Salesforce. Expert knowledge of Marketo is required

  • Strong verbal & written communication skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications

  • Expertise in strategizing & executing data-driven marketing initiatives in the email channel & other direct channels.

  • Very strong attention to detail, & ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

  • Exceptional collaboration & technical aptitude, having worked with highly complex processes & a large MarTech stack

  • Inquisitive & process oriented with a focus on leveraging data to optimize campaign performance & systems efficiency for opportunity creation

  • Proficient with SQL queries & HTML

  • Strong knowledge of marketing techniques & campaign lifecycle

  • Demonstrated project management expertise, including the ability to accurately specify project timeframes, dependencies & risk factors

  • Marketo Certified Expert a plus!

  • Working knowledge of Iterable a plus!
